Manage Depression: Depression is defined as “a
state of mind characterised by a pessimistic sense of inadequacy
and a despondent lack of activity”. It affects between
5-10% of the population at anyone time.
It can be debilitating
and the signs of depression vary from person to person
including irritability; loss of confidence;
loss of pleasure in activities; lethargy; difficulty in
sleeping; poor appetite or comfort eating; loss of libido;
difficulty
in concentrating; restlessness; feeling worthless, guilty,
and/or hopeless; thoughts of death or suicide.
Very often
it is either an event or thinking pattern which causes
the depression and hypnotherapy works to heal the
emotional trauma and create a more positive frame of
mind. In addition,
you will be taught techniques to manage your emotions
in a constructive, positive way so that you are better able
to deal
with life and all it’s challenges.
